Senior IT Sales Account Manager – VoIP, Networking, Storage

£45,000 OTE £90,000 Uncapped
Our client is a focused IT reseller, delivering innovative communication solutions to global enterprises. Offering a range of solutions, they specialise in voice, data, unified communications and network storage. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior IT Sales Account Manager to join their team.
This role would suit a B2B sales professional with experience of selling in the IT sector, looking develop their career and earning potential.
As a Senior IT Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new and existing accounts, focusing specifically on increasing the company’s customer base.
In addition to the ability to identify new opportunities, you must also possess the acumen to understand a customer’s technical and business requirements.
Your duties will include:
- Planning and prioritising personal sales activities and customer contact
- Planning and managing your personal business portfolio
- Managing products, pricing and margins
- Responding to and following up sales enquiries
- Maintaining and developing existing and new customers
- Attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings
To be considered for the role of Senior IT Sales Account Manager, you must have a proven track B2B sales record and experience of selling in the IT sector. This must include exposure to VoIP, networking and/or storage.
Additionally, you must possess excellent computer skills and the ability to analyse business opportunities, develop effective sales strategies and close business. Although not essential, a degree (or equivalent) will be an advantage to your application.
Above all, our client is looking for someone who can close high value sales but who is equally adept at pioneering new business development opportunities.
