Up to £40,000 DOE Plus Benefits Package
Our client is a leading auctioneer of business assets. With a significant global reach, they’re known throughout the industry for their unsurpassed knowledge. An opportunity has now arisen for a Project Manager / Software Product Manager to join their team.
This role would suit a high calibre project/programme manager with an online services or software background, looking to further their career with a dynamic company.
As the Project Manager / Software Product Manager you will be tasked with overseeing the design, build, QA, release and launch of online software-based products and services.
This role demands someone with a pragmatic approach, good commercial awareness and the ability to manage change. Equally as important is the ability to work in a matrix environment.
Your duties will include:
- translating business needs into new deliverables and provide information and advice in response to stakeholder needs
- ensuring the development and successful delivery of products
- managing the product development lifecycle process through concept development, design, build and delivery
- working with, and co-ordinating the activities of a multi-disciplinary team
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- IT project or programme management experience
- a background in an online services or software application environment
- a degree (or equivalent)
As the Project Manager / Software Product Manager you should also be an excellent communicator, with the ability to influence at senior level, and team player with a well organised approach. A strong customer orientation is also essential as is the ability to work under pressure.
A project management qualification, such as ITIL, Prince2 or PMP, would be beneficial to your application.
